I've been volunteering at Rescue Village for three years now ever since I retired in 2018. The opportunity to work with hundreds of dogs and all the great staff at RV has been a major highlight of my retirement. Although we were not open to the public during the pandemic, animals were still arriving at the facility, adoptions by appointment were still happening, and they all still needed care and loving. I was so appreciative to be able to continue to volunteer and support this great organization during that terrible time of all our lives. While the pandemic is not completely over we are starting to open a couple days a week to the public and it's so great to see some semblance of normalcy coming back.
I'm on the Woofstock Committee again this year and look forward to us being back at the Cleveland Polo Field. I really appreciate your financial support and if you are able, be sure to join us for a really fantastic fun event on September 12th at the Polo Field from 10a-4p!
Rescue Village has a proud history of being a leading animal welfare agency in Northeast Ohio. They do not receive any government funding and rely solely on the support of our generous community. By attending and donating to Woofstock 2021, you will dramatically impact the lives of thousands of animals in our care and help them prevent the suffering of thousands more through prevention efforts.
Thank you so much for supporting me in my fundraising efforts and helping more homeless animals find their forever homes.
