Our staff is working hard on how we will continue to offer adoptions and find loving homes for our animals during this crisis. We want to be a part of the solution to “shelter at home,” while also providing happiness and support through the kindness of animals. Right now we are looking at ways to take our adoption process virtual AND safely deliver pets to families in our community while protecting our staff and their health.
Additionally our foster families perform an essential service to Rescue Village. Foster homes help us save more lives by providing in home care for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that need to heal, mature, or require more socialization prior to adoption. This frees up more cage space in the shelter, allowing us to in turn help even more animals in need.
